In order to find meetups around the device, Tech Dive uses the GPS data of the device and shares it with the Meetup API so it can locate meetup groups around you. The app does not attach any information to the API request that would identify the owner of the device.

If you are uncomfortable having location data shared with meetup.com through their API there are 3 options available:

• Disable the location permission for Tech Dive
• Do not use the meetup feature of the app
• Uninstall Tech Dive
